Post for Yesterday

K I am on a blogging role!! well up until yesterday when I totally forgot to do this thigy majig. Oh Well let's make a long post! JK I don't think I can type up a whole bunch of stuff after today's test. Todays test wasn't so bad. I messed up really bad on the Math test but that's a thing of the past. The easiest test, by far, in my opinion, was the Reading Test I'm pretty sure I aced that one. Next was Language arts and after that one it was a tie between Math and Science. I guessed on the Math ones towards the end. It was ptiful It was manslaughter on my brain. The test were theives with my knowledge! I guess if I ever want to get into a good college and they judge me on my test scores I'm screwed. But until that day I will survive! *Figure of speech, I don't xpect college proffesors to attempt muder upon me and my posterity*, Right nw I am blogging while chatting on Facebook. I have to turn in my habits chart tomorrow for Health. But that's no biggy. The only reason it isn't turned in yet is because I keep forgetting to take it off of my stupid mirror.  Hopefully typing it up makes everything better to memorize!! I hope I don't get in trouble with Mr. Vickers

The End

This is the end of my remarkably short Junior High Life the next segment will hopefully be twice as long...which isn't saying much considering how many times I posted here. I will start up a new blog today and it will be called The wondrous adventures of an adolesent highschooler. Until the new blog is posted I must say. Good bye. Signing off for the last time this is Aaron Hancock, author of My Junior High Life.

Words.

I have started to notice an unusual thing with modern day slang. In the 70's or so people would always say Groovy, Tubular, Rad, and simmiliar words. Now in our day and age we say Epic, Beast, Fail, awesome, etc. I wonder what the slang of the next generation will be...

well.. I'm awesome

I just thought I would share my opinion on bullying. I have always been a firm believer against it. I have been, believe it or not, on both sides of bullying. I have been the victim in 6th grade but then I went to Jr. High and the bullies went to a different school. In 7th grade I started hanging around the "Cool" kids and I bullied an over weight girl. I didn't say anything mean to her or anything like that but I didn't stop my friends or anyone else from making fun of her either. Now I still am not as diligent in stopping bullying as I could be but I do my best to not be a bully and to stop it when I see it. I understand my mistakes and wish to improve from them. I hate bullying and feel sorry for those who are bullied. I used to just think that they didn't want me to interfere. I know now even if they don't want me to interfere I should. Even though this girl was overweight and frankly, just plain out loud weird and threatened to eat me on several occasions it wasn't right to not stop the bullying that she has to deal with everyday.

Here's a first draft excerpt. This is really crappy but here you go.

I slowly reached into the menacing, black bag and retrieved the item I had been searching for. It had been delicately wrapped in a silky black fabric. I eagerly removed the fabric to find my most prized possession. I held the colorful, glossy cub amazed at its intricate detail. I gave it a twist and another after that/ ‘It is… COMPLETE!!” I shouted to no one in particular.
“Shut up” My sister remarked from across the hall.
“It’s his… precious” My older brother said mimicking Golem.
“Yeah, no one cares about you stupid rubrics cube” My younger sister Allie agreed.
“No one cares about you” I replied.
            “MOM!” Allie Shrieked.
“I’m sorry. I’m sorry!” Seeing no sign of giving in on her side I tried a bribe.  “You can have my allowance for a month.”
“Make it ‘til December and we have a deal.”
“But it’s July!” She breathed and started to yell again, I covered her mouth as her ‘O’ came around “Deal” With a smirk and a little wave she skipped to her room.
“Man, she knows how to play you,” My older brother said with a mocking smile.
“Like you wouldn’t have done the same thing” My older brother gave me one last mischievous smile and vanished into his room, moments later I heard the squeal of video game stimulated tires followed by the too unreal sound of gunshots. I found out minutes later that those noises were not video game oriented.
Blah Blah Blah Blah
“Why are you doing this?” I screamed, my voice was hoarse now. I looked around at my new cell mates; they were genetic anomalies. ‘Genetic anomalies’ was the only conclusion I could come to. How else could the one in the corner have wings or the guy stuck to the ceiling? How could they do that? “I think there’s been a mistake. I’m not like these people!”
“Oh yes you are.” I jumped back, startled at the man’s sudden appearance.
“How? I don’t have wings, or telepathy, or suction cups for pores.”
“That’s because you haven’t matured yet.” He looked like a hobo.
“Keep your mouth pointed that way.” I said holding my nose and pointing at the far wall. “Your breath reeks.”
“Maybe you should learn some manners.” The man said showing an assortment of what could only be described as teeth. I instantly hated the man. He scratched his head and lice fell like a heavy snow. I scurried back, scared that a couple might want to find a new home in my hair. The man chuckled; his chuckle sounded like two rats fighting over the last dry moth. I looked over and saw two rats fighting over the last dry moth. I returned my gaze to the man and found that no noise was actually coming from him.
“Maybe, you should take a shower or brush your teeth every once in a millennia and you might actually get a decent job.” I was glad I had finally come up with a facetious remark. That joy didn’t last very long. The man opened his mouth and I saw something white starting to worm up his throat. “What is that.” By now all the prisoners were pressed up against the back wall, as far away from the man as we could get.
This is my friend Terry. He’s a tapeworm.” I didn’t dare go any closer. The tapeworm was now extended about a foot out of the man’s mouth. It was like a long, white tongue; it was that thick.
“Keep that bloody thing away from us.” The kid with the wings said. He had a distinct British accent. “Don’t make me cut the bloody thing out of your bloody throat.” The British kid said holding a large, sharp, rusty, broken pipe. I liked this kid.
“Fine” The man’s ‘n’ seemed to disappear because he couldn’t close his mouth without the threat of cutting Terry’s head off. He made a gurgling noise and the tapeworm went back into his throat. Moments later, I could see the tapeworm float across his eyes.
“That’s disgusting.” The kid on the ceiling mumbled.
“You’re just jealous” The man said brushing his hand through his few, long scraggly, greasy, black hairs.
“Or you just boosted our self esteem on our looks cuz we now know we aren’t the biggest freaks on earth” The ceiling kid said.
“Or the ugliest” A girl said from the cell to my left. I was unaware that they had girls to.
“Filthy mutant scum” The man said.
“We’re the filthy mutant scum?” I asked. He reached his fist out and punched me square in the gut. “That felt wonderful” I breathed.
“Well, that must’ve felt nice. Punching a kid in the gut, I mean.” The Brit said.
“When it’s my turn I’m going to pluck every single feather out of your pretty little wings, one by one. And when I’m finished I think I’ll slowly cut ‘em off.”
“Shut up, Greaser” A man said descending the long staircase.
“Greaser, so that’s your name.” I said with an evil smile. The man, Greaser, let’s just say, if glares could kill, I’d be dead.
“Hey, Suits, you in charge around here?”
“My name’s not suits and I will be your supervisor temporarily.”
            “That doesn’t answer my question”
“I’m in charge of you but not in charge of this facility.” His voice was disgustingly calm and monotone and sounded vaguely like Professor Snape. Come to think about it, he looked vaguely like Snape but with shorter hair.
“So who’s in charge of this bloody facility?!”
“Don’t ruffle up your feathers, you’ll meet him soon enough.” Did I hear a crack in his emotionless voice?
“Define soon.” Suits and Brit were getting into this.

My story

So uh hi guys! I am a serious slacker. I have meant to do this for like a month now, but as you can probably tell...I haven't. I have seriously taken up writing again. This time I want to finish a novel. I am hoping to have a beautifully edited and perfected Novel by the age of 16. I have too many ideas to fit into one novel hopefully I will get published and they like me enough to publish future books after this book. For people who do not go to my school, our school musical auditions are coming up. The musical is Annie. I'm not much of a singer in front of audiences so I'm not so sure if I'll try out. If you are interested in reading my "Novel-to-be" if you can even call it that. If you do read this beginning part I want hard core criticism, none of this "I'm gonna spare your feelings" Crap... I hate that. So yeah I think this is about all I have to say today. So Buh-Bye
                                           Signing off,
                                                             Aaron Hancock, Author-to-be.
